Viking Charity Walk in aid of Medicinema

On Saturday 1st July 5 members of Grove Park Kent Lodge along with 4 family members completed a charity walk in aid of the Medicinema charity.

The walk followed the Viking Trail from Pegwell Bay to Herne Bay on the Kent coast. The walk took around 9 hours and covered 27 miles.

We raised over £4000 for Medicinema who install and run state of the art screening rooms at hospitals and other places of care to allow patients the opportunity to see the latest movies and have a welcome break from their treatment. The rooms accommodate beds, wheel chairs and provide the necessary support environment for patients, their families and careers.
